A hard fought battle of the planets on Mansion, long and tedious but Planet 6ooner held out and forced the surrender of the Earthlings. This battle is truely over but the war continues next Saturday ..... Same 6ooner time, same 6ooner channel

Friday the 13th is only as unlucky as every other day.

Nothing to report for Wednesday, I organise a live tourney here in Belgium every two weeks or so and it seems to be getting more popular. We had thirteen people with one group not turning up, I think the venu is good enough for sixteen so I've got to start looking for a bigger place to hold it. Came 4th by the way.

Thursday... unreal, lauched me straight into a fit of paranoia and depression, every time I got a hand I got beat by somebody holding onto A rag, the only thing to make me actually smile was when I played A 10 suited only to get taken on and out by JadedJ who went all in with 5 2 off and hit a straight, which I actually thought was hilirious and couldn't stop laughing about for ages until my next three exits which were along a similar vien............. that night the voices in my head started to whisper again.

Friday night wasn't too bad, I came 4th in the Spin palace 1k freeroll for $100 and in the Punter Lounge Absolute freeroll, after taking an early hit I managed to stay in the game until another 6 people went out after being rick bottom all the way.

Word of warning, STTs late on a Friday night are full of drunk assholes who hit everything when they have absolutely sod all- I normally enjoy playing like this but random chance seems to hate me at the moment - I'll not be buying random chance a beer tonight!

The voices were a little bit louder last night.

Well they don't come much worse than last night. First of all the Spodds champs league, got dealt a beautiful 72o and though that as over half the table were from Punters Lounge I'll try a nice little scare off bet of 4 x BB... bugger, I get a caller! The flop drops and I see a luvverly 7 4 2.. whoo hoo. So it's me and Swage ( who I'd put on a high pair or AK), not wanting to allow his high cards to hit I pushed all in, quite happy that I was ahead. On their backs gentlemen please ...... oh dear, Swage is showing 4 4 and it's goodnight Vienna.

Still, I'm still in the Hendon Mob league on Titan and I'm running second, playing tight but managing to steal a few blinds because everyone is playing tight. With only one table open and things going slowly I start viewing the lounge. Everyone is so tight that when I get dealt a pair of eights I try 3 x BB to try and steal.... back to the lounge, up pops the screen and someone has not only decided to call they've gone all in. Well I don't like the look of that, I'm giong to fold ...... so why oh sodding why did I hit the call button? Two third of my stack in the middle, maybe I'll get lucky,after all I'm only up against another pair ...... until Mr really big stack to my left decides to go all in too. The pot is now around 5.5k and I've got 700 left with a pair of eights and I'm really not happy about hitting the wrong button, all I can do is call and cross my fingers.. On their backs gentlemen please ...... I seem to be facing AA & KK no 8 comes out so I'm out! The comments in the chat box really added to my misery;

Titan MTT league

Finished 5th in the Titan MTT, a great improvement on last weeks 2nd to last but not quite enough to buy that 60' yacht.

Did OK in the warm up games I had before though, a 5$ and $10 10 seater STT - won both - still not enough for a yacht though. It'll just have to be more lavazza for now.

Question, why on earth am I actually writing in this thing? I only set it up to get in the 1k freeroll!!

Absolute Poker Inter-forum Challenge

Wey Hey, finished 36th out of 376 to cash $27.50. Not a bad game tonight, a little more serious than the freeroll last night and some quality tilt.

These guys who get really upset when they get knocked out seem to have one thing in common, they all claim to have had sex with their opponents mothers and sisters. Well my advice would be to cut down on the amount of effort it take to find, wine, dine and woo poker players mothers and sisters and practice more poker, it's the only way to get better.

You know it makes sense!

Welcome to 6ooner's Blog. Normally I'm quite a shy retiring sort of chap and like to keep myself to myself but the idea of a $1000 freeroll just for setting up a blog seems to have bought me out of my shell.

I don't really have a lot to say at the moment, I've had an awful month at the tables and it's just starting to turn around. The nights are drawing in, it's getting close to my hollibobs in Vegas, christmas is coming so I really need to win some money to fund my uncontrollable coffee habit (I'm using beer as a substitute to get me away from the from the evil yet desireable concoction)

First points in the Spodds champs league tonight and not looking too bad in the Absolute inter forum challenge at the moment .......... tomorrow the world!
